FAQs

Do you do weddings?

Not currently. Our focus for 2025 and 2026 is on floral design workshops and classes for all skill levels. Bridal parties are welcome to book private DIY bouquet workshops.

Do you have open public hours?

All customer access to our gardens and property is by booking or appointment only. Our business is also our home, and we expect customers to book workshops and appointments with respect to our privacy.

Do you sell bulk flowers?

Not currently. The flowers we grow are used in our garden-to-vase arrangement workshops or are dried for our winter wreath workshops, but we’re happy to refer customers seeking bulk blooms to local flower growers.

Do you sell seedlings or bulbs?

Yes. We start many ornamental heirloom and specialty plants from seed each year, and we are often adding new varieties of bulbs to the gardens in the fall. Stay tuned in the early spring and fall for seedling or bulb sale announcements.

Can I order a custom arrangement?

Yes, we take limited custom orders for single arrangements according to seasonal capacity. Custom arrangements start at $250+ and pickup is required. Please contact us to start an order.

Are you open to collaboration?

Yes! We’re always eager to meet other flower folk and small business owners. At the same time, our capacity is limited and we can’t say yes to everything. We’re happy to connect and explore potential. Contact us if you have an idea.

Grief, Resilience, Joy

Owner Sarah working with an arrangement of French marigolds.

Our story and the meaning of marigolds.

Starting in 2018, Sarah ran a flower farm called Alberta Girl Acres near Vulcan, Alberta. Leveraging her background in marketing and communications, the farm thrived, and she released a book that supported others wishing to start small-scale market businesses of their own. The surrounding floral community grew quickly, but Sarah’s venture was sadly brought to a halt when her spouse and co-parent passed from cancer.

Marigolds were his flower, and they were the final crop harvested from her farm. Aptly, they symbolize grief, resilience, and joy.

Time heals, and so do flowers. After taking the time to heal as a family, Sarah and her incredible kids are rebuilding in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

Marigold Floral Studios is an homage to the beauty that can grow from grief.
